Frequently Asked Questions
The image of my baby is unclear/fuzzy hard to see.

Tip 1: Check to ensure the protective plastic sheet has been removed from both the parent unit and baby unit. Most models have a protective plastic layer for shipping which needs to be removed before using the baby or parent unit.
Tip 2: Try moving the baby unit closer to your infant.
Tip 3: The parent unit may be too far away from the baby unit. Try moving them closer together however; not closer than 3 feet. The operating range is 150 feet indoors; however; that may vary depending on environmental conditions and other interferences such as wall; doors etc.
Tip 4: Try adjusting the LCD brightness or contrast on the parent unit.
Step 1: Press MENU/SELECT when the parent unit is not in use.
Step 2: Press ▼ or ▲ to scroll to the light icon (2nd icon down under camera).
Step 3: Press ◄ or ► to adjust the level.
Step 4: Press MENU/SELECT to confirm.
Tip 5: Try resetting the parent and baby unit.
For units w/ removable battery:
Step 1: Disconnect the power to the baby unit and parent unit.
Step 2: Remove the batteries from the parent unit.
Step 3: Wait for 60 seconds.
Step 4: Re-install the batteries and connect the power adapter to the baby and parent unit.
Step 5: Allow up to 1 minute for the baby unit and parent unit to link back up.
For units w/o removable battery:
Step 1: Disconnect the power to the baby unit and parent unit.
Step 2: Turn off the parent unit.
Step 3: Wait for 60 seconds.
Step 4: Turn on the parent unit and connect the power adapter to the baby and parent unit.
Step 5: Allow up to 1 minute for the baby unit and parent unit to link back up.
Why is my screen in black and white?
- The screen is in black and white during night-time or in a dark room when the night vision feature is activated.This is normal.
Why doesn't the baby unit and parent unit power-on light illuminate when the units are switched on?

Perhaps the parent units is not connected to the power. Insert the adaptor plug into the parent unit and insert the adaptor in a wall socket.Then, press and hold POWER key to switch on the parent unit to establish connection with the baby unit.
My baby monitor makes a high pitched 'squealing' noise.

Tip 1: The parent unit may be too close to the baby unit or another parent unit. Make sure the parent units and baby unit are at least 3 feet away from one another.
Tip 2: Are you pressing the TALK button on the parent unit when this happens? Make sure when you press and hold TALK that the parent units and the baby unit are at least 3 feet away from one another.
Tip 3 : The sound sensitivity level may be set too high. Try adjusting it lower to avoid audio feedback.
Step 1: Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.
Step 2: Press SELECT.
Step 3: Press ▼ or ▲ to choose the sensitivity level.
Step 4: Press SELECT to confirm your selection. The screen displays SAVED and you hear a confirmation tone.
Tip 4 : Place the parent unit at least 3 feet away from Wi-Fi devices; including laptops; tablets; smartphones; routers and wireless streaming devices. Your baby monitor operates on similar frequencies as Wi-Fi devices; and may experience interference if placed too closely to Wi-Fi devices. If you suspect a device may be causing interference; power off the device and try using the baby monitor again. If the performance improves; the device may be causing interference.
Microwave ovens cause interference in the same frequency band as your baby monitor. Depending on the location of the microwave; your baby monitor may temporarily lose connection during microwave operation.
Try to move the baby unit or parent unit around to find a location with better reception. Walls; electrical wiring; metal appliances; steel; and concrete can all cause interference and 'block' signals.

Step 2: Remove the batteries from the parent unit.
Step 3: Wait for 15 seconds.
Step 4: Re-install the batteries and connect the power adapter to the baby and parent unit.
Step 5: Allow up to a minute for the baby unit and parent unit to link back up.
Waiting for linking/No link to cam/Failed to Connect' keeps showing on the display.
